Here is exactly how we handle your documents, your data, and your privacy.
Every insurance document you add is encrypted using AES 256 symmetric encryption via the Fernet standard before it is stored. Your file is unreadable to anyone without your account credentials. Encryption happens on our server the moment your document arrives, before it ever touches storage.
Encrypted documents are stored in secure cloud object storage. Structured policy data, the sections extracted from your document, is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database. Both are isolated. Neither is ever stored on a shared or public file system.
Only you can access your documents. Our AI processes your policy to extract structured content. It does not retain or store the raw text after the session ends. No employee has routine access to your documents. Access logs are maintained for every interaction with your data.
You can delete any policy at any time. When you delete a policy, the encrypted document and all extracted data are permanently removed from storage. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at info@wearepratik.com. We process all deletion requests within 7 business days.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your documents or policy details with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. The only third party that processes your document content is OpenAI, used exclusively to extract and structure your policy, governed by OpenAI's enterprise data processing terms.
